I would say my style is a combination leaning towards reportage,
photojournalistic &  traditional. I am passionate about my work & with every wedding I strive for the ultimate image. I love knowing that the couple are unaware of me on their wedding day. I like to just disappear into the crowd, yet capturing all the moments that nobody is aware of. I really enjoy the finer details of the day as well.

Jannie and Jorietha

Bodemloos Kombuis

15 Dec 2012

This is a wedding close to my hart. Firstly, Jorietha and Jannie got ready at a tented village called Buttonquail. I love the outdoors and this was perfect, you also just about needed a 4×4 to get there, which made the trip very exciting, and scary.

Secondly the wedding was about Jesus, the commitment to each other, and the bond with family and friends . Everything was plain and simple, showing what really is important to the couple. And Protea’s were the chosen flowers, and they my favorite.

They got married atBodemloos Kombuis, on the patio there, and there after had a lovely afternoon on the grass, chilling, chatting and snacking on various things. Once the sun had set they had supper.

I had a lovely day photographing this great event unfolding and it left me with an awe of appreciation.
